Work with us

We build AI that helps detectives solve cases faster.

A modern case can hold millions of files. Longeye works through them and gives investigators answers with citations they can defend in court. We're a small team in San Francisco, it's working, and we're hiring.

Growth

How agencies grow with us

One trial, then the whole department

One of our earliest agencies started with a standard trial in the detective bureau. Usage kept climbing until the agency rolled Longeye out across its entire patrol division on their own. When the contract came up, they signed for five years.

That's the usual pattern: one investigator gets a result, shows the next desk over, and the account grows from inside.

Culture

How we work

We're small and tight-knit, and we care about the mission more than is probably reasonable: find the truth faster, and bring more cases to a close. We have a lot of respect for the people we build for. Getting to make something that helps investigators solve real cases, every single day, isn't something any of us takes for granted. We're AI-native and we move at a pace that surprises people — a team this size gets more done than you'd expect. We know what needs to exist, and we're going after it hard.

  • Truth in the data Bring truth to the data. That's the whole job. Some days it means a case closes weeks sooner. Other days it means someone who didn't do it walks. We're here for both kinds of day.
  • Customer first Many of our teammates are former sworn officers, so the reverence for this work runs deep. The best stretches are the ones we spend onsite at an agency, and the warmth we've been shown there — how freely people give their time — still catches us off guard.
  • Built for the whole trifecta Investigators, public defenders, prosecutors — different sides of the same case, but the job underneath is identical: find the truth, faster. We build for all of them, and we mean to make the most powerful investigative tool any of them has ever used. Truth should hold up no matter who's asking.
  • We'd rather be real Straight feedback, and people who show up for each other when a week goes sideways. We have no patience for the fake-enthusiastic voice you find on most careers pages. Present company excepted, we hope.
